Personal 1:1 coaching time throughout the school year where we review your questions and concerns to make sure you are ready to advocate for your student and are an equal member of the IEP team. Includes bonus guidance documents and IEP checklists.
Who is This For
Anyone who wants support understanding IEPs and special education in public schools. The IEP process can be confusing and full of educational jargon. If you want to fully understand your child’s IEP, the services available, and how to be a confident, equal member of the IEP team, this is the right service for you
Where
All meetings are virtual. We can have video conferences, phone calls, and/or email communication.
When
These coaching sessions can take place throughout the school year whenever you need them. New questions and concerns come up all the time, and we will make sure you are supported.
Cost
$150/hr or $475 for a 4-hour package

IEP Document Review & Feedback
I will review any and all of your student’s IEP documents and will provide you with questions and suggestions you can discuss with the IEP team, including requesting additional data if necessary. Go into the IEP meeting confident.
Who is This For
Anyone who wants to make sure their child’s IEP is appropriate to meet their needs and your goals and to be a stronger advocate at the IEP table. This is a great service for busy families who don’t have time for another meeting. I will review the documents and provide you written comments that you can share with the IEP team.
Where
E-mail: send me the documents, I will review them and send them back to you with notes. A separate virtual meeting can be scheduled if you want to review the IEP together before the meeting.
When
1-2 weeks before or after the IEP meeting, domain meeting, or eligibility meeting
Before the meeting: You are entitled to a draft of the IEP and all documents that will be reviewed prior to the meeting. I will use those drafts to review and provide you with written suggestions and questions you can share with the team.
After the IEP Meeting: If you felt uncomfortable during the IEP meeting, or didn’t understand something, I can review the IEP. Schools can always revise the IEP even if a meeting was just held.

Parent Concerns & Requests
We will write a Parent Input Statement/Parent Concerns Statement for your child’s IEP. We can also write a letter officially requesting data, meetings, or services from the school. The letter and/or statement will be provided to you to share with the school.
Who is This For
Every parent who isn’t sure how to put their thoughts, concerns, and goals for their child into words. This is also for parents who don’t yet feel confident asking or have already asked for data, meetings, or services from the school with a negative response. You will have a letter that you send to the school.
Where
All meetings are virtual. We can have video conferences, phone calls, and/or email communication.
When
The parent input statement for the IEP should be provided to the school IEP team prior to the meeting, but input and requests can be sent at any time throughout the school year. New questions and concerns come up all the time, and we will make sure you are supported.
